I was over-the-moon to see this in the mail today. I ordered this on suggestion from Hunida and it came super fast! I ordered it Feb 28 and it arrived in my lovely mailbox on March 7. This is a bi-monthly subscription which cost me $38.90 for the tube and shipping.
Let’s open it up!
I already love to see that something is outside of the main tube because that means there was not enough room in there to shove this other product inside! I love getting a lot of bang for my buck.
The info sheet is very well put together and has a nice intro to the tube as well as information on each product plus tips and ingredients. That is great information in general but especially for products you are going to put on your face. I can’t say I am very well-versed with ingredients because I will try just about anything BUT for those who are more educated, you will appreciate all the information.
I LOVE THIS PACKAGING! I love that it isn’t a standard box that every other subscription sends and this is an actual test tube of products. I cannot begin to explain how happy I am to open this!
Y’all. It’s full to the brim!!! There is SO MUCH STUFF! I am going to be a beautiful skincare goddess.
Let’s dive in!
First Item: Raeka Beauty Tumeric Cucumber Peel Off Mask – $29.50
A pore-cleansing mask best-suited for dry or combination skin. When used weekly, this peel-off treatment works to soothe skin, tighten pores and polish the top layer of skin
This mask smells so good! I definitely have combination skin which leans more to dry so I am always hesitant to do anything other than a sheet mask. This was very difficult to peel off!!!!… but I was able to wash off what I was unable to peel. It made my skin feel tighter but I didn’t notice any change in my pores. I feel like it is something that I might do again if I feel like my face just needs to have the top layer ripped off and tightened…..trust me, the older I get, the more I feel this way. Out with the old, in with the new!
Second Item: Amorepacific Youth Revolution Radiance Creme and Masque (travel size) – $200 for 1.7 oz
A two-in-one whipped formula – use it as a cream or an overnight mask – that boosts skin’s radiance, hydration and ability to protect itself by way of natural, potent ingredients.
Holy cow I cannot believe the price tag. Normally I’m a little on the fence about getting such small samples, but really, when would I try out a $200 product?!?
The formula is so smooth when applying it to my face. It covered my face in silky goodness and absorbed really quickly. It didn’t make my skin feel or look greasy. Honestly, I’m not really sure what makes it $200 and doubt I will find out with such a small amount BUT I know for a fact I am going to be devastated when my very expensive tiny lotion is gone.
Third Item: Miracle Fruit Oil Miracle Fruit Seed Oil Treatment (travel size)- $50 for 50 mL
Clinically proven to naturally condition, protect, strengthen and repair strands with each use, this featherlight oil is nothing short of a miracle-worker for damaged or weakened hair.
My poor little bottle got beat up for sure. I’m not really sure what happened but I’m excited to use this. I wish this was full size so I could see the long term benefits!
This does have a pretty strong fragrance which is pleasant enough. I don’t mind my hair having a little scent to it. Lord knows I’m not trying to have hair stench when I go about my business so it’s a nice touch.
I applied this to towel dried, damp hair. The directions say you can do damp or dry hair, but mine tends to get oily and weighted down after it’s dried. I’m not really sure why the dropper wand thing is what they chose over a pump, but I did wonder how they expected me use this product…..I can’t speak to the benefits or effects of this hair oil, but it did make my hair smell nicely. I’m happy I got to try it! I love hair products and am hoping I find something that will turn my hair into a luxurious, frizz free mane.
Fourth Item: Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum – $85
A potent retinoid-meets-botanical blend that delivers all of the complexion-bettering benefits of a traditional vitamin A formula- think skin clarity and lessened lines and wrinkles – without irritation.
I was so excited to see this product AND IT IS FULL SIZED!!!!! Sunday Riley is super well known for amazing skincare products. I’m really in shock that this was included and cannot wait to see the long-term benefits of this serum. When I applied it after the peel off mask, it made my skin feel rejuvenated and hydrated. I could even cover my face with just one pump from this. I’m so excited!!!!
Fifth Item: Grande Cosmetics Hydrating Lip Plumper in Sugar Plum – $27
A high-gloss, volumizing lip treatment that’s specially formulated to deliver both instant and long-term results.
I love lip plumpers. I try anything and everything that claims to plump my lips. It keeps me from getting lip injections (I’m too afraid to try it).
I’m not a huge fan of the color but there is definitely some lip plumping action from this! Within seconds I started to feel like amazing tingle like you’ve eaten something too spicy. I am 100% going to be using this – I am just going to wipe the color off! My lips are gorgeous and more full – they look like I’ve had just a hint of fullness added to them. I might be in love.
Sixth Item: Essentiel Elements Fresh Neroli Shower Gel – $29
An invigorating shower experience: Pure botanicals gently cleanse and hydrate skin while expertly blended citrus notes add a therapeutic boost to your shower.
I love bath products so any time one is included, I’m a very happy lady. This has a love citrus scent which really revitalizes your skin and wakes you up! Not going to lie, I’d never pay $29 for a bath wash unless it made me magically lose weight or REALLY moisturized my skin but this was nice to try out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice body wash but I didn’t really notice anything special about it besides the scent. Still happy to have it though!
Seventh Item: Purvari Organic Rose Petal Mist – $18
A 100-percent organic mist designed to hydrate, reduce redness, control oil production and brighten tone with help from nutrient-rich rose petals.
Facial mists have become one of my favorite skincare products. This one is no exception – it is very lightweight and refreshing without too much of a scent. I like to use it to just touch up my face throughout the day. Plus, the spritzer doesn’t spray too much product so that’s a major plus.
I can’t say I noticed much redness reduction, but whatever it was still a nice spritz of hydration and lets be honest, if I had redness, I’d cover it up with makeup anyways.
Eighth Item: Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion EX (travel size)- $63 for 125 mL
A light-weight, skin-softening lotion that battles dryness and uneven texture using herbal ingredients.
I can’t say I have ever heard of this brand before but this lotion is very nice! It made my skin feel hydrated which is important in this dry Alaskan weather. The little container is almost impossible to get much out of it though so I am sad that I might not get to use every last drop of this because it really does feel so nice on my skin.
Ninth Item: VMV Hypoallergenics Grandma Minnie’s Boo-Boo Balm – $17
A do-everything skin saver and “make-it-better” salve. Its high efficacy has garnered a cult following among doctors, families, and health and beauty aficionados.
I was expecting this to be a lotion but it’s not……instead it is more of a Neosporin type consistency and it’s very difficult to get much out of the tube since it’s so small. From what I could tell, it felt nice enough going on and wasn’t too greasy. I’m not sure how to use it but whatever, you can’t win them all.
I’m not going to count this in the items because it wasn’t included in the info booklet, but if you like wine, feel free to use the coupon. I won’t be using it!
Overall, the value is amazing! The Sunday Riley serum makes it worth the price tag alone. The fact that you get nine products (plus the random wine gift card) is amazing. I like the full size and sample options. I’m so excited to keep this subscription going!
Let me show you some other things that I ordered real quick. I just wanted to add a little blurb about them!
So, first up I ordered a necklace and earrings from Gorjana. I got a $25 discount card from my Allure Beauty Box. I wasn’t going to use this since most of these discount cards seem like a waste, but I checked out the site and wanted to order something.
Even the packing slip holder is amazing!
The necklace and earrings are very pretty and dainty. I like anything I can layer and this brand has a lot to offer.
I chose a compass because I’m always moving, always hiking, traveling, just generally seeing the world and nature around me. Plus, this was a steal with this discount.
Also, I have ordered these books to read coming up soon!
