The packaging and info card are really nice. It seems to have some heft and good items in here from what I can tell. Hopefully, this will aid in my self-care centered 2019.
On to the items!
First Item: Chalkboard Teapot Infuser by PinkyUp – $26.99
Up your tea game with this perky little pot from Pinky Up! The hinged stainless steel lid, wide lipped infuser, and sturdy ceramic frame take all the fuss out of loose leaf preparation. Clean-up is a snap, so go on and break out those leaves!
Really, I purchased this box for this tea pot. I can’t say I’m an avid tea drinker, but I just love how cute it is. I love the packaging as well so that feels like an added bonus. It seem really nicely made and I can’t wait to purchase some tea to try out in this adorable pot!
Don’t you guys think that packaging is super pretty? I just love anything with shimmery rose gold. Not going to lie but I am always going to store this tea pot in this box while I’m not using it. I may have a hoarding problem…..
Lets see what else I can add to my collection.
Second Item: Muscle Relief Roll-On by Bombay & Cedar – $19
Combines powerful analgesic oils designed to mitigate pain and discomfort. Apply directly to affected areas (neck, arms, back, legs, etc). Apply as needed for pain relief.
I have to admit, I was having some more muscles and cramping from living life and this stuff really did help. It has a more medicinal smell than I was expecting, but it did seem to help my aching body. Maybe it was all in my mind but I am definitely going to keep this in rotation for a go-to item if I have these types of symptoms. It’s super handy that it’s a roller ball as well. I feel like I could slip this into a gym bag or purse and be set!
Third Item: Green Tea Peppermint Bath Soak by LM Organics – $24
It’s luxurious and makes your skin smooth as you relax into the delicious scents of the soothing ingredients!
Like I said in a previous post, I love me a good bath. The smell of this isn’t my favorite but I am excited to give it a try. I feel like you could get a few uses out of this since it’s a pretty decent size, but knowing me, I’ll just dump it all in the tub to get the full benefit. The description sounds really pleasant so hopefully this lives up to the little item blurb!
Fourth Item: Firming Facial Polish by BYBI – $19
A 100% natural fruity facial scrub to prime your skin for skincare, before you even think about priming for makeup. This exfoliating and cleansing scrub contains a mixture of both abrasive and non-abrasive ingredients slough away the top layer of dead skin cells.
I always love a good exfoliation. I have so many products for my body and sometimes I forget to focus on my face. My current face exfoliant is running low, so I am happy to have something new to try out. The scent isn’t too overwhelming and it seems decently abrasive so this will be a nice addition to my facial routine.
Fifth Item: Detox Tea by Essential Rose Life – $15
This sweet, earthy tea lives in high demand for its delicious flavor and unique healing benefits. Ginger Root, Dandelion Root, and Holy Basil create a spicy, yet subtle synergy that cleanses, balances, and purifies the body from the inside out. Lemongrass soothes and sweetens.
Like I said before, I’m not a huge tea person and seeing this loose is a little intimidating but with my adorable tea pot I can officially say I feel a little more secure about this. It smells magical – you can definitely smell lemongrass and the herby tones of the other ingredients. Hopefully it’s not too earthy, but if it is then I’m sure I can add enough honey to make my sweet tooth happy!
Sixth Item: Here & Now or Life/Style Notebook by Compendium – $6.95-$9.95
Each notebook is a piece of your story, a reflection of your spirit, and a philosophy for how you want to live your life. Find the notebook that meets you in the place you’re in today. Available in varying styles.
I am someone who is always reaching for something to write on. This looks perfect for writing little tidbits about my little man so that way I can have it as a keepsake for when he is older. I have definitely had a project like this in mind since he was born, but now I have the notebook to do so. Plus, I love the way it looks.
So, here is the final lineup. The total retail value for the box is $110.94 – $113.94 which is a good value for the $46 I paid for the box (includes shipping). I really like everything in my box and I am really excited to use all of these products. I am also excited to see what the mini box has in store for me.
A lot of these products are out of my comfort zone so I haven’t purchased a full subscription but we will keep an eye out to see if things get better or worse so I can fully decide.
If this seems like the type of box you might like, use my referral code to get $7 off your first box! I believe this can be used for the mini box as well, which I will be reviewing shortly. They also have mystery boxes up and I purchased a mega!
Til next time!
